A re-brand for
the home team.
SchollyME is a mobile app for athletes to develop their brand on and off the field. During the time when NIL I was just around the corner. SchollyME helped students not only get found but created a platform for them to build their identity as a student and athlete and advertise not only their skills but brand.
In sports all players want to be proud of what they’re wearing and the team the represent. The current brand of the app didn’t convey the character of what the brand was, nor did it give an athletic feel. It felt more preppy and blander than bold and unique. Within the discovery I leaned towards a creative direction that focused on a strong monogram mark. That could be versatile yet something the SchollyME team would be proud to wear along with the students’ athletes that use their product.
Staying close to the concept with a shield I played around with a monogram. Focusing on the “s” and “m”. My thought throughout this process was to think of something as iconic as the superman logo. A monogram that was strong, versatile and fitting for the arena SchollyME operated in.
